Thank you USVJSC

There are not many men and women who would devote hundreds of hours of volunteer service on behalf of former service men and women conducting FULL Final Military Honors in the rain, cold, or heat of the day. Every week, somewheres in the United States, the US Volunteers - Joint Services Command is in action.

Since the World Wars, there have been two very strong and important veteran organizations in the United States, 1) the American Legion and 2) the Veterans of Foreign Wars. These organizations provides access to the veteran who served actively in the military in peace time and in war time, a place to go for commeraderie, friendship, benefits and information.

But what about the millions of patriotic non-military personnel who served as government employees, factory works, volunteers for the hundreds of military auxiliaries around the nation? What formal organization do they have that allows them to be recognized for their volunteer services in peace and war time?

The United States Volunteers - Joint Services Command was founded in 2001 by a group of retired military officers who watch their colleagues being buried without full military honors. Just as Teddy Roosevelt saw the need to raise of a group of volunteer civilian and military soldiers to fight in the Spanish American War of 1898, today in 2001, the United States Volunteers headed by a Vietnam war hero, Allen Baumann and a group of retired and honorably discharged veterans put together this organization for two purposes:

1) Performance and Training of volunteer military units to provide Full and Final Military Honors under the US Army's AP3 Program

2) to train Chaplains and Medical Personal for emergency services.

This organization has continued to carry on conducting thousands of final military honors in 5 regions of the United States of America since 2001 with accolades from government officials and families of veterans.

The United States Volunteers - Joint Services Command (because of volunteers from all armed forces and allies) is looking for patriotic hearts who have the same passion and allegiance to our military personnel active and retired, who want to make a difference by providing full final military honors unit at your local national or private cemetery.
